HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------


METHOD 1: Delete from App (Recommended)

1. Open the BookMyBarber app

2. Go to Settings (gear icon)

3. Tap on "Delete Account"

4. Confirm your decision in the dialog

5. Your account will be permanently deleted


METHOD 2: Contact Support

If you cannot access the app, email us at:

  Email: rektech.uk@gmail.com

  Subject: Account Deletion Request


Please include:

  • Your registered phone number

  • Your registered name

  • Reason for deletion (optional)


We will process your request within 7 business days.

WHAT DATA WILL BE DELETED

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------


For Customers:

  • Your name and phone number

  • Booking history

  • Any saved preferences


For Barbers:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone)

  • Shop details (name, address, services, pricing)

  • All customer bookings and waiting list data

  • Profile photos

  • Earnings and statistics data

IMPORTANT NOTES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------


  ⚠ Account deletion is PERMANENT and cannot be undone

  

  ⚠ All your data will be permanently removed from our servers

  

  ⚠ You will lose access to all booking history and shop data

  

  ⚠ If you are a barber, your customers will no longer see your shop

  

  ⚠ Any pending bookings will be cancelled

DATA RETENTION AFTER DELETION

After account deletion:


  • Personal data: Deleted immediately

  • Booking records: Deleted immediately

  • Shop information: Deleted immediately

  • Profile photos: Deleted immediately


Some anonymized data may be retained for:

  • Legal compliance requirements

  • Fraud prevention

  • Analytics (non-identifiable)
